選手時代は、全日本ウェイト制重量級優勝、無差別世界大会4位など輝かしい成績を収め、引退後は子供から大人まで幅広い世代に空手を指導。

現在は代官山道場責任者として、空手道を通じた体育や道徳教育にも力を注ぎ、道場を通じて地域社会への貢献を目指す。
